Automatic Safety Relief Valve Test Bench for PRV Test

The automatic safety relief valve test bench, as known as PRV test bench or PSV test bench, is an intelligent pressure relief valve tester. It uses gas or water as the testing medium to simulate a high-pressure working environment for relief valve, thereby completing PRV pneumatic test or PRV hydro test. Relief valve pneumatic test pressure is up to 400bar, and relief valve hydro test pressure is up to 500bar. The dual hydraulic clamps controlled by computer are compatible with for various safety relief valves from DN15 to DN400. And the testing program software built-in computer can automatically perform safety relief valve popping test, reseating test and sealing test, and finally issue a relief valve test report.

How Safety Relief Valve Test Bench Works

The safety relief valve test bench is equipped with double hydraulic clamps which are compatible with various relief valves ranging from DN15 to DN400. In addition, multiple included flanged PRV sealing disks and threaded PRV adapters will help you fix and seal your relief valve on the hydraulic clamp firmly. The PRV test bench has built-in a gas booster and a high pressure pump, which can generate high pressure for relief valve testing. You only need to input serval test parameters into the machine’s computer. Under the automatic control of the computer and the real-time monitoring of pressure sensors, the machine will automatically clamp your relief valve, and then perform pressure relief valve setting test, reseating pressure test and leak test. Meanwhile, the computer will draw a pressure-time curve and record test data automatically. After the test completed, the machine will pop up a test report for you. If you need to obtain the relief valve leakage rate, you only need to add a laser bubble counter on the PRV test bench.

The manual safety relief valve test bench still retains dual hydraulic clamp chucks and high-precision pressure gauges. However, you need to manually operate the control valves and record the testing data by observing the precision pressure gauges during relief valve pop test, reseating set and leaking test. Therefore, its operation convenience and test accuracy are not as good as the automatic relief valve test bench.
