Pneumatic Refrigerant Pump for Transfer Refrigerant

The pneumatic refrigerant pump is a refrigerant booster, which is dual-purpose pump capable of safely processing both liquid refrigerant and refrigerant vapor. That is, it can suction refrigerant liquid and vapor, then pressurize refrigerant to 40bar maximum, thereby ensuring refrigerant always remaining liquid form during transfer or filling refrigerant process. The refrigerant pump uses compressed air as driving power, does’t require electricity power, thus no risk of electric sparks or flame and explosion proof. The refrigerant booster pump is safely and widely used to recover refrigerant, transfer refrigerant and fill refrigerant.

Refrigerant Pump Features

  • Explosion proof and safely handle refrigerant and vapor
  • Suitable to recover refrigerants and transfer refrigerants
  • Oil-free compression avoids refrigerant contamination
  • Pressurize refrigerant up to 40bar and pressure adjustable
  • Automatic start-stop at any preset pressure

Refrigerant Booster Applications

  1. Serve as refrigerant recovery pump to recycle various OHFC FHFC series refrigerants such as Freon, R410A, R22 and more.
  2. Unload refrigerant from bulk tank.
  3. Transport refrigerant from source to terminal over long distances.
  4. Fill refrigerant into refrigeration equipment or refrigerant tanks.

How Refrigerant Pump Works

Driven by compressed air, the pneumatic refrigerant booster pump’s discharge pressure is always proportional to the driving air pressure. If add an air regulator to adjust the air supply pressure, you can easily adjust refrigerant discharge pressure. Before you recycle refrigerant or transfer refrigerant, you need to set a refrigerant discharge pressure. So the refrigerant pump will suction refrigerant no matter of liquid form or vapor form from your source tank, then pressurize the refrigerant to higher pressure to fill it into your receiver tank.

Refrigerant Recovery Machine

Refrigerant recovery system operation digram

This is a refrigerant recovery system that can help you effectively recover all the residual refrigerant in bulk tank no matter of liquid form or vapor form. Then covert it into liquid refrigerant and refill it into a new tank for you reuse. Beyond that, the refrigerant recovery system is also suitable to serve as a manual refrigerant filling machine.

Refrigerant Transfer System

Refrigerant transfer system operation digram

When unloading refrigerant or transfer refrigerant, the refrigerant may vaporize or the terminal refrigerant insufficient due to the long pipeline. The refrigerant transfer system is an automatic refrigerant transportation machine, and it can pressurize refrigerant to ensure that the refrigerant remains in the liquid form during unloading or transportation.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why pressurize refrigerant when transfer or filling refrigerant?

Refrigerants are usually stored in tanks in liquid state. During transfer or filling refrigerant process, refrigerant is easy to vaporize thus converting into refrigerant vapor at room temperature. Therefore, you need to use refrigerant booster pump to pressurize refrigerant to ensure refrigerant always remaining in liquid phase.
