How to Operate Oxygen Boosters

Driven by compressed air, oxygen booster pump discharge pressure is directly proportional to the driving air pressure. If adjust the air supply pressure, oxygen gas booster discharge pressure will change accordingly. Just only need to add an air regulator and a pressure gauge, you can easily set or adjust oxygen booster discharge pressure by observing the pressure gauge while adjusting the air regulator.

Why it is prohibited to ompress oxygen above 35MPa?

Senwell gas boosters can boost most gases to 160MPa maximum. However, once oxygen pressure exceeds 35MPa, oxygen gas will become very unstable and is likely to spontaneously ignite. For safety reasons, oxygen pressure is limited to below 35MPa.

The oxygen cylinder stores high-pressure and high-purity oxygen gas. When grease meets high-purity oxygen, a strong oxidation reaction will occur, and a lot of heat will be released quickly, thus igniting the oxygen gas. Therefore, it is strictly forbidden for oxygen cylinders to come into contact with grease.

The air rebreather or respirator stores compressed clean air that can be directly breathed by humans. And SCUBA and SCBA are both air respirators. However, the oxygen rebreather or oxygen respirator stores compressed pure oxygen (containing more than 99% oxygen) that cannot be directly breathed by humans. It is mainly used for mine rescue, medical rescue, etc.

Oxygen boosters cannot directly process liquid oxygen. Liquid oxygen is a cryogenic liquefied gas, which is stored in cryogenic tanks with pressure of 0.8MPa or 1.6MPa. Before using liquid oxygen, you need to use a gas evaporator to vaporize the liquid oxygen and convert it into normal temperature gaseous oxygen. Now you can use oxygen boosters to pressurize, deliver or fill oxygen gas.
