The methanol injection pump, as known as high pressure methanol pump, is a pneumatic chemical injection pump. It can safely pressurize methanol to maximum 320MPa and inject methanol under back pressure. The methanol injection pump is driven by compressed air or compressed nitrogen, does not require electricity, thus no risk of electric sparks and flames. Therefore, pneumatic methanol injection pumps are suitable for methanol injection operations in explosion proof areas such as oil extraction and processing, water treatment, laboratories and more. To meet your dual demands on pressure and flow, we supply four series and multiple models of high pressure methanol pumps for your choice.
To cope with the corrosiveness, flammability and volatility of chemicals, we adopt the following measures for methanol injection pumps:
1. The methanol injection pump uses pneumatic operation and oil-free compression, requiring no electricity, thus eliminating the risk of methyl alcohol being ignited.
2. There are double sealing rings installing in the pump. Methanol runs independently and is completely isolated from the driving air, avoiding the risk of methanol leakage or contamination by compressed air.
3. The wetted parts are made of 316L stainless steel, and seal rings are made of FFKM, thus ensuring excellent corrosion resistance.
The discharge pressure of methanol injection pump is always directly proportional to the drive air pressure. Thereby if adjust the air supply pressure, the pneumatic methanol pump outlet pressure will change accordingly. Just need to add an air regulator and pressure gauge, you can easily set or adjust the meth injection pump outlet pressure by adjusting air regulator while observing pressure gauge. If there is no air supply on site, you can use a 15MPa nitrogen cylinder to power the methanol pump after depressurization.
Methanol injection system is a Methanol injection skid that integrates high pressure methanol pump, pressure gauges, control valves and threaded fittings into a robust skid. Therefore, skid mounted design makes it easy to operate and move. In addition, we offer automatic Methanol injection unit for your choice, which is automated by PLC module. You only need to set a Methanol injection pressure touch screen, the machine will automatically complete Methanol injection operations.
