Automatic LPG Filling Machine for LPG Tank Refill

The automatic LPG filling machine is an explosion proof LPG gas refilling machine with automatic weight control function. As well known, the full name of LPG is liquefied petroleum gas, which is a liquid gas that must be filled according to the approved weight. To prevent excessive filling LPG, the LPG gas filling machine is equipped with electronic scale and electronic control module to achieve automatic weighting. Your only need to preset a LPG filling weight on the electronic scale, the machine will automatically transfer and fill LPG from source tank into cylinder. And it will automatically stop filling when reaching your preset weight. In addition, we also offer an optional vacuum pump which can remove trapped air and impurities from your LPG cylinder before filling operation.

How LPG Filling Machine Works

The LPG filling machine consists of LPG filling pump, electronic control module and electronic scale. The vacuum pump is used to remove the trapped air, stream and impurities in your LPG cylinder, thus ensuring the purity of LPG in cylinder. The LPG filling pump can complete filling LPG from source tank into cylinder. Under the automatic control of electronic control module, the electronic scale can automatically monitor the LPG filling weight to prevent excessive filling. When your preset LPG filling weight is reached, the machine will automatically stop filling and alarm on.

LPG Filling Machine Features

  • Pneumatic operation ensures explosion proof
  • Safely fill LPG, DME, butane, propane in cylinders
  • Automatic weight control function to avoid LPG overfilling
  • Max filling pressure 32bar and Max filling weight 300kg

How to Safely Fill LPG Gas

  1. Activate the vacuuming pump to vacuum LPG cylinder.
  2. Set a LPG filling weight on the equipped electronic scale.
  3. Activate LPG filling pump to fill LPG into cylinder. The machine will automatically stop and alarm when reaching your preset weight.

LPG filling pump is an explosion-proof LPG transfer pump. It can process both LPG and vapor, and utilizes pressure differential to transfer and fill LPG. By adding an air regulator and electronic scale, you can build a basic LPG filling system.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why do I need to pressurize LPG when filling LPG?

LPG is stored in tanks in liquid form. While LPG is prone to vaporize into gas due to pressure changes. Therefore, it is necessary to pressurize LPG to maintain its liquid state throughout transfer or filling LPG process.

As a commonly used fuel gas, LPG is stored in cylinder in the form of liquid gas. To ensure the safety and stability of LPG cylinder, it is necessary to vacuum LPG cylinder before filling LPG. The reasons are as follows: 1. Prevent gas mixing. If there are impurities such as air or water vapor in LPG cylinder, liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) will mix with these impurities, causing safety accidents. Vacuuming LPG cylinder can remove these impurities. 2. Prevent LPG gas leakage. The trapped air or water vapor in LPG cylinder may introduce oxidants such as oxygen, causing LPG gas leakage and resulting in fire or explosion.

Yes. The LPG stored in storage tanks is prone to convert gas-liquid mixture due to ambient temperature variation. Our LPG filling machine is equipped with a gas-liquid dual-purpose LPG filling pump, which can process gaseous LPG, liquid LPG and gas-liquid mixed LPG.
