The hydrostatic pressure tester, as known as hydro pressure tester, is a portable and low-cost hydrostatic testing equipment. It is driven by compressed air, thus explosion proof and safe use in hazardous areas such as oilfields, gas fields or chemical plants. The hydrostatic tester is equipped with a hydrostatic test pump with maximum outlet pressure 59000Psi. And it also comes with a pressure chart recorder for recording pressure variation on a paper chart to draw a pressure curve during hydrostatic test. Therefore, the hydro pressure tester is widely used to preform hydrostatic test on various workpieces, wellhead equipment, valves, manifolds, blowout preventers (BOP), Christmas trees and more.
The hydro pressure tester is driven by compressed air, and its outlet pressure is directly proportional to the driving air pressure. Just need to adjust the air regulator while read the pressure gauge on the panel, you can easily adjust the machine’s outlet pressure, thereby setting a testing pressure for hydrostatic test. In addition, the hydrostatic pressure tester has the automatic pressure maintaining function. That is, the machine will automatically stop and maintain the pressure when reaching your preset testing pressure.

The hydrostatic tester is applicable to liquid medium such as water, hydraulic oil, emulsion and other liquids.
Hydro pressure tester is maintenance free, just make sure there is enough lubricating oil in the air lubricator during it is running.
If there is no air supply or plant air on site, you can use a compressed nitrogen cylinder to power the hydro test pressure unit.
