Hydro test pump, also known as hydrostatic test pump, is an air driven high pressure pump. It uses compressed air or compressed nitrogen as driving power, and is able to pressurize water or hydraulic oil to generate high pressure of 640MPa maximum. The hydro pressure test pump has the function of automatic pressure maintenance. That is, the hydro test pump will automatically maintain the pressure without energy consumption when reaching the preset pressure. And it will automatically restart and supplement pressure in case of outlet pressure drop. Therefore, hydrostatic test pump is widely used for hydrostatic testing and burst testing of various workpieces such as pipes, hoses, joints and more.
Driven by compressed air, the hydro test pump outlet pressure is directly proportional to the driving air pressure. Therefore, if adjust the air supply pressure, the hydrostatic test pump outlet pressure will change accordingly. Just need to add an air regulator and a pressure gauge, you can easily set or adjust the hydrostatic test pump outlet pressure by adjusting the air regulator while reading the pressure gauge. In order to facilitate your operation, we also supply portable hydrostatic test machine for you to choose from. It integrates hydrostatic test pump, pressure gauges, liquid tank, manual valves, isolation valve, air regulator, air lubricator and threaded fittings into a robust skid. Therefore, it is a portable and low-cost hydro pressure tester. Its skid-mounted and portable design allow you to easily carry it to the field to perform hydrostatic test and burst pressure test on diverse workpieces.
Hydro testing pump is applicable to liquid medium such as water, hydraulic oil, emulsion and other liquids.
Hydrostatic test pump does not require frequent maintenance, just make sure there is enough lubricating oil in the air lubricator during the pump running.
If there is no air supply on site, you can use a 15MPa or 20MPa nitrogen cylinder to power the hydrostatic test pump.
