The hydraulic hose pressure tester is an intelligent hydrostatic testing equipment with maximum test pressure 4800bar. It can help you perform both hydrostatic test and burst pressure test on hydraulic hoses, brake hoses, fire hoses, plastic pipes, metal tubes, valves, joints and more. To be specific, the hose pressure test machine uses liquid as the test medium to pressurize your hose, thereby performing hose hydrostatic pressure testing or hose burst pressure testing. The hose pressure tester has four functions of quick bleed air, automatic maintaining pressure and relief pressure, automatic determining test results. In addition, we also offer the pressurization rate adjustable function for users to choose from.


The hose pressure tester uses water, oil or emulsified liquid as the test medium to pressurize the hose to your desired pressure, thus simulating a pressure environment. You only need to input test parameter in computer, the machine will automatically carry out hose hydrostatic testing and hose burst pressure testing, and finally generate a test report. The machine comes with a prefill pump to help you quickly bleed the air trapped in your hose before testing. In addition, this machine features an adjustable pressurization rate. It allows you to pressurize the hose at the desired rate, thus avoiding test result deviations caused by localized stress concentration within the hose due to rapid pressurization.





Hose pressure test contains hose hydrostatic test and hose burst pressure test. Hose hydrostatic pressure test requires pressurizing the hose to 1.5 to 2 times its working pressure and then maintaining that pressure for a period of time to verify the hose’s material strength and structural integrity, thus ensuring the hose’s safety during future use. Hose burst test is a destructive test aimed at obtaining the a hose’s ultimate strength, thereby determining its safety factor and design margin. It requires continuously pressurizing the hose until it cracks, and the instantaneous pressure value causing the hose to crack is the hose’s burst pressure.
The main difference between hose hydrostatic test and hose hydraulic test and lies in the different test media. Hose hydraulic test uses hydraulic oil, water or other liquids as the test medium, while hose hydrostatic test uses water as the test medium. Therefore, hose hydraulic test contiains hose hydrostatic test. In practice, the terms of hose hydrostatic test, hose hydro test and hose hydraulic test are often interchangeable.

Before hose pressure testing, there are some air remaining in the hose. And the trapped air will form many tiny bubbles under high pressure, which will seriously affect the accuracy of the test results. Therefore, it is necessary to bleed the air from the hose by prefilling water into it.
The hose hydrostatic test uses water as the test medium. Due to the incompressibility of water, the energy of the high-pressure water is released gradually during the pressure test process, posing no fatal threat to equipment or personnel. Therefore, hose hydrostatic test is a relatively safe pressure test. Even so, protective measures is necessary.
