FK5112 NOVEC gas extinguisher filling machine is an automatic clean agent gas refilling machine. NOVEC 1230 is FK-5112, which is a substitute for halon. NOVEC is liquid at room temperature but easily vaporizes. And it acts as extinguishing agent and is stored in drum tanks and fire cylinders in liquid form. Nitrogen serves as a propellant gas and is stored in fire extinguishers in the form of compressed gas. NOVEC is filled according to weight, while nitrogen is filled based on pressure. The gas extinguisher filling machine will help you fill NOVEC 1230 and nitrogen into fire extinguishers. And it integrates four functions of vacuuming fire cylinder, refilling NOVEC, filling nitrogen and automatic weighing.
The gas extinguisher refilling machine is equipped with a vacuum pump, which can completely remove the air trapped in fire cylinders before filling. And there is clean agent filling pump in the machine, which has self-priming capability and uses the pressure differential principle method to transfer liquid NOVEC from a drum tank to the fire cylinder. You only need to set a filling weight on the equipped electronic scale, the machine will automatically complete pressurizing and filling NOVEC 1230. And it will automatically stop filling when reaching your preset weight, thus prevent excessive filling NOVEC. Moreover, the machine is equipped with pressure reducing valve and precision gauge to facilitate your accurately filling nitrogen gas into fire cylinder.

NOVEC 1230 and FM200 are stored in fire extinguishing system in the form of liquid and liquefied-gas respectively, both of which don’t have the ability to spray. Therefore, it is required to fill fire extinguishing system with nitrogen at a certain pressure. And the nitrogen acts as the propellant gas to spray NOVEC or FM200 to extinguish fires. Normally, there are three levels of nitrogen filling pressure in gas agent extinguishing system, namely 2.5MPa, 4.2MPa and 5.0MPa.
Before refilling NOVEC fire extinguisher, some air, moisture and impurities remain in the fire cylinder. The traditional practice is to execute gas replacement for fire cylinder. We added a vacuum pump in NOVEC filling machine, which can remove the residual air, moisture and impurities from the fire cylinder, thus saving the step of fire extinguisher gas replacement.
