If your budget is limited, you can purchase just gas filling pump to achieve compressing gas and filling gas. The gas filling pump, as known as a gas compressor pump, is actually a gas booster. By adding an air regulator and a pressure gauge, you can build a low-cost basic gas filling system by yourself. First of all, you need to set a gas filling pressure by adjusting the air regulator while observing the pressure gauge. Then the gas filling pump will compress gas and fill gas into your cylinder, and it will stop automatically when reaching your set pressure, thus avoiding excessive filling gas.
The gas filling pressure depends on your cylinders. The most common pressure ratings for steel cylinders on the market are 15MPa and 20MPa.
