Large Flow Gas Compressor Pump

The gas compressor pump, also known as gas booster pump, can safely compress gas to 160MPa maximum. It uses compressed air as its driving power, no electric spark and flame risk, thus explosion-proof and applicable to various gases including flammable gases. The gas compressor pump is equipped with the exhaust cooling module that uses exhaust air to achieve self-cooling and cooling high-pressure gas. In addition, it has the automatic start-stop function. That is, it will automatically stop when reaching your preset pressure, thereby preventing overpressure. Therefore, gas compressor pumps are widely used to pressurize gas, transfer and fill gas and pneumatic pressure test.

How To Operate Gas Compressor Pumps

Driven by compressed air, gas compressor pump discharge pressure is always proportional to the driving air pressure. Therefore, if adjust the air supply pressure, the gas compression pump discharge pressure will change accordingly. Just need to add an air regulator and a pressure gauge, you can easily set or adjust gas compression pump discharge pressure by observing the pressure gauge while adjusting the air regulator. In this way, the gas compression pump will constantly suction gas, compress gas and discharge high-pressure gas flow for you.

Gas Compressor Pump Features

  • Explosion-proof and applicable to most gases
  • Safely compress gas up to 160MPa and pressure adjustable
  • Exhaust air cooling module comes with most models
  • Automatic start-stop at preset pressure avoids overpressure
  • Multiple models optional to meet your needs for pressure and flow

Typical Applications

  1. Compress methane, CNG, hydrogen and most fuel gases.
  2. Transfer and fill gas from a source to cylinders.
  3. Fill nitrogen into hydraulic accumulators or gas springs.
  4. Recover low-pressure gas and vapor.
  5. For pneumatic pressure test and leaking test.

Gas Compressor Station

To facilitate your operation, we integrate gas compressor pump and control kit into a robust skid to built the gas compressor station. And the skid-mounted design makes it easy to operate and move. Therefore, it is suitable to serve as a small gas compressor machine or a cost-saving alternative to electric gas compressors. If you need to massively compress gas or transfer gas, we will connect two or more gas compressor pumps, all of which work together to discharge more high-pressure gas flow for you.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I use gas compressor pumps if my gas initial pressure is very low?

If your gas initial pressure is very low, but you want to get a higher pressure, our GBT series gas compression pump is your ideal choice. And if the gauge pressure of your gas is zero, please select our models GBS01, GBS02 or GBS05, all of which have strong self-priming ability. Please contact us for more details.

Gas compressor pumps can compress gas and gas-liquid mixture. If you want to pressurize, transfer or fill liquid gas, our liquid gas booster pumps will be more suitable for you.

Our gas compressor pumps are equipped with exhaust cooling system, which can achieve self-cool and cool the high-pressure gas during compression. If you need to further quickly cool the compressed gas, it is recommended to install a gas cooler.

We offer both oil-containing and oil-free compression for you to choose. For industrial gases such as nitrogen, we recommend using oil-containing compression, of course it is up to you. For high-purity gases and flammable gases  such as hydrogen, oxygen, methane, natural gas, we use oil-free compression (dry compression).
