FM200 filling machine, also known as HFC227 filling machine, is an automatic fire suppression gas filling equipment. As well known, FM200 serves as fire suppression agent and stores in ton tanks and fire cylinders in the form of liquefied gas. Nitrogen acts as propellant gas and stores in fire cylinders in the form of compressed gas. Therefore, FM200 must be filled as per the approved weight, and overfilling is prohibited. Nitrogen is filled based on pressure. This fire suppression gas filling machine can help you automatically fill FM200 and nitrogen into fire extinguishers. And it integrates four functions of vacuuming fire cylinder, filling new FM200, filling nitrogen and automatic weighing. Moreover, the machine is also suitable to serve as a Halon filling machine.
This machine is equipped with a vacuum pump, which can remove residual air, impurities and moisture from fire cylinder before filling new agent. And there is a gas-liquid dual purpose agent filling pump in the machine. Therefore, the machine is able to suction both FM200 and vapor from your ton tank and then convert it into liquid FM200 by pressurization, finally fill it in fire cylinder. Just only set a filling weight on the electronic scale, the machine will automatically complete filling FM200. And it will automatically stop filling when reaching your preset weight, thus prevent excessive filling FM200. Moreover, the machine is equipped with pressure reducing valve and precision gauge to facilitate your filling nitrogen into fire cylinder accurately.

FM200 is also called HFC227ea, NOVEC 1230 is also named FK5112, and both of them are clean agent and serve as fire suppression gas. Source FM200 is stored in ton tanks in the form of liquefied gas, which has a certain pressure. Source NOVEC is stored in drum tanks in the form of liquid, which has no pressure. Therefore, during filling NOVEC from source drum into fire extinguisher, it is recommended to install a dip-tube in NOVEC drum to speed up NOVEC filling efficiency.

FM200 and NOVEC 1230 are stored in fire suppression system in the form of liquid-gas and liquid respectively, and both of them don’t have the ability to spray. So it is necessary to fill fire suppression system with nitrogen at a certain pressure. And nitrogen serves as a propellant gas to spray gas agent to extinguish fires. Normally, there are three levels of nitrogen filling pressure in gas suppression system, respectively are 2.5MPa, 4.2MPa and 5.0MPa.
Before refilling FM200 fire extinguisher, some air, moisture and impurities remain in the fire cylinder. The traditional practice is to execute gas replacement for fire cylinder. We added a vacuum pump in FM200 refilling machine, which can remove the residual air, moisture and impurities from the fire cylinder, thus saving the step of fire extinguisher gas replacement.
