The condenser radiator aluminum copper tube expander is a hydraulic tube expander. It is designed for fin-and-tube type heat exchangers such as radiators, evaporators, condensers and intercoolers. The condenser radiator tube expander can complete the expansion joint of tube, tube-sheet and cooling fins through one-piece tube expansion, so as to eliminate the longitudinal gap between the three, thereby achieving interference fit and preventing loosening. In short, the aluminum copper tube expander can fix tubes to tube-sheets and cooling fins tightly through hydraulic expansion tube. The hydraulic tube expanding machine is applicable to copper tubes, aluminum tubes and stainless steel tubes without restrictions on length and shape. And the tube deformation can reach 0.3mm to 1.2mm after expansion.
The hydraulic tube expanding machine consists of hydraulic console and collet tooling. Firstly use two included collets to clamp and seal the two ends of your tube. Then activate the machine and set a tube expansion pressure and duration on touch screen. And the machine will generate hydraulic flow and deliver it into the tube via collets to complete the tube expansion. The entire tube expansion process is automatically controlled by PLC module.
The hydraulic tube expander, also known as water pressure tube expander, is an innovative nondestructive expansion tube method different from traditional mechanical lossy expansion tube. The hydraulic tube expansion machine uses water as the working medium and hydraulic power as tube expansion power. It applies uniform hydraulic pressure to the inner wall of the tube to make the tube plastically deform, thereby eliminating the gap between the tube, tube-sheet and cooling fins. Hydraulic expansion tube won’t damage tubes, and the tube wall will not become thinner after tube expansion.
Mechanical tube expansion method uses balls to expand the tube, which is a lossy tube expansion and the tube wall will become thinner. Hydraulic expansion tube is also called water pressure expansion. It is a nondestructive tube expansion that does not damage the tube wall and does not affect subsequent welding.
