High pressure Co2 injection system is a Co2 injector that is designed for plastic foaming and supercritical fluid extraction. In plastic foaming or microcellular foaming process, carbon dioxide serves as the foaming agent. Accurately injecting Co2 at the required pressure is crucial to the product quality of extrusion molding and injection molding. The carbon dioxide injection system can complete compressing Co2 and precisely injecting Co2 in one go. That is, the machine can boost carbon dioxide to high pressure liquid form, then output stable gas flow at your required pressure and precisely it into the foaming machine, extrusion machine, injection molding machine or SFE autoclave.

Co2 injector machine consists of carbon dioxide booster, gas buffer tank, digital pressure controller, pressure sensor, pressure reducing valve and control kit. Here’s how it works. Firstly the machine will boost carbon dioxide to high pressure liquid Co2. Then store the pressurized Co2 in the gas buffer tank to eliminate pressure pulsation and form a high-pressure Co2 reserve. When you need it, only need to adjust the pressure reducing valve to your required pressure, then you will obtain stable carbon dioxide flow. The digital controller can control Co2 booster automatic start-stop, thus ensuring that there is always sufficient Co2 in the gas buffer tank.

This is a carbon dioxide injection machine for plastic foaming or physical foaming. As well known, carbon dioxide acts as the foaming agent in extrusion foaming and microcellular foaming. The machine can boost carbon dioxide to high pressure, and then accurately inject carbon dioxide into foaming materials to generate lots of bubbles to expand the material to a saturated state, thereby forming a foam-like material. In short, Co2 injection machine can output high-pressure liquid Co2 at a constant pressure. If you need precise control liquid Co2 injection volume, you can add a carbon dioxide metering pump, which can inject high-pressure liquid carbon dioxide at a constant flow rate.
Supercritical fluid extraction usually utilizes supercritical carbon dioxide as the solvent to extract specific components from liquids or solids. The carton dioxide injection machine has the function of pressurizing carbon dioxide. Regardless of whether your source carbon dioxide is gaseous or liquid state, it can pressurize your Co2 to a supercritical state and store it in a tank. You only need to adjust the pressure reducing valve to the desired pressure, and the machine will output supercritical carbon dioxide at a constant pressure and inject it into the reactor autoclave.

The carbon dioxide used in gas-assisted injection moulding can come from bottled Co2, cryogenic tanks or Dewar tanks.
Whether your Co2 source is gaseous or liquid state, our carbon dioxide booster station is able to process your Co2.
