The compressed air booster pump, also known as air amplifier or air intensifier, can amplify the pressure of workshop air or air compressors up to 80MPa through self-boosting. Usually, the compressed air pressure of the air compressor is lower than 10bar, which is difficult to meet some occasions that require higher pressure compressed air. In this case, you just need to connect an air booster pump to the air supply line, then it will discharge a stable high-pressure compressed air for you. The air booster will consume a small part of compressed air as its driving power, and compress the remaining compressed air to output higher-pressure air, thus no electric spark risk and explosion proof.

The air pressure booster utilizes the low air pressure on the large piston to generate high air pressure on the small piston, thereby achieving self-boosting. The air booster pump consists of two parts: a drive cylinder with a large piston inside and a high-pressure cylinder with a small piston inside. And the two pistons are connected by a shaft. When compressed air enters the air booster pump, a portion enters the drive cylinder to push the large piston reciprocating, while the remaining portion enters the high-pressure cylinder to wait for compression. When the large piston reciprocates, the small piston also reciprocates. So the air inside the high-pressure cylinder is continuously compressed, and the pressure increases until it is discharged.

To meet your dual demands on air pressure and flow, we provide multiple models of air amplifiers for your choice. In addition, we supply the air booster system, which is a stable and ready-to-use high-pressure compressed air source. The compressed air amplifier system integrates air booster pump, air storage tank and control kit. Its working principle is as follows. First you need to set a desired pressure by rotating the air regulator. Then the air booster pump starts outputting high pressure air and stores it in the storage tank to eliminate pressure pulsation, so as to form a stable pressurized air reserve. When you need it, adjust the pressure reducing valve to get stable high-pressure air supply.
