High Pressure Pump Boost Ratio

The high-pressure pump boost ratio is a very important performance parameter and is the primary indicator when selection models. 

Air driven high pressure pumps are also called air driven hydraulic pumps, air driven liquids pump or air driven fluid pumps. There are three ports on a high pressure pump, namely the driving air inlet, liquid inlet and high-pressure liquid outlet. The high-pressure pump has two pistons built in, the large piston is the air piston and the small piston is the high-pressure piston. The high-pressure pump boost ratio is the area ratio of the large and small pistons. It is set before the high-pressure pump leaves the factory, so it is a fixed value. Once you select a high-pressure liquid pump with a certain boost ratio, the high-pressure pump outlet pressure will always be in a fixed proportional relationship with the air supply pressure.
For example, our high pressure pump model LBS100 has a boost ratio of 100:1. When you use 3bar, 5bar and 8bar compressed air to drive the high-pressure pump, it will output high pressure 300bar, 500bar and 800bar respectively.

In order to meet the needs of various high-pressure applications, we provide high-pressure pumps with various boost ratios for users to choose from. Our air driven pumps have a maximum boost ratio of 640:1 and a maximum outlet pressure of 6400bar.
